Contractor James Pounds and businesswoman Connie M. Leipard are seeking the GOP nomination for Boone County presiding commissioner. Mr. Pounds joined us live on “Wake Up Columbia” this morning, criticizing the commission’s October 2-0 vote to remove the Sid Larson murals from the courthouse. Pounds also says county commissioners are too interested in raising taxes:
