Collision on Highway 54 in Cole County kills elderly woman

An elderly Jefferson City woman has been killed in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 54 in Cole County. The crash happened on Thursday afternoon, south of Jefferson City. Missouri’s governor predicts Rock Island corridor will benefit rural mid-Missouri towns
