Columbia Public Schools to start school year with mask requirement
Columbia Public schools will require everyone in district buildings to wear a mask to begin the school year. The district announced the rules Friday. Census data shows 12.9% population growth in Boone County
Boone County showed significant population growth over the last decade. Data from the 2020 census was released Thursday. It says Boone County’s population went up by 12.9%, to 183,610 residents. That’s the sixth-highest growth rate out of all Missouri counties. The state’s population grew by 2.8%, to 6,154,913 people.
Roots N Blues to require vaccination proof for entry
