Taste of the Tigers Returns October 27 to Support The Food Bank
Great food, local drinks, Mizzou Football and a great cause! The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri is gearing up for its 10th annual Taste of the Tigers event on Tuesday, October 27, from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
This year’s event moves to an exciting new location: EquipmentShare Club 1926 in the North End Zone at Mizzou’s Memorial Stadium.
Guests can sample delicious bites from some of Mid-Missouri’s favorite restaurants, enjoy local craft brews and sip selections from area wineries. Mizzou Football fans will also get a special treat as Head Coach Eli Drinkwitz joins Mike Kelly for a live radio broadcast from the event.
The evening will also feature live and silent auctions, giving attendees the opportunity to bid on unique experiences and exciting prizes, all while supporting an important cause.
Taste of the Tigers is part of The Food Bank’s Score Against Hunger campaign, a partnership with Mizzou Football that dates back to 1995. The campaign runs through the end of the year and is The Food Bank’s largest annual fundraising effort.
The need for food assistance remains significant. According to Feeding America, an estimated one in six Missourians faces food insecurity, including one in five children.
The Food Bank serves approximately 100,000 people every month across 32 counties in Central and Northeast Missouri. During Fiscal Year 2026, the organization distributed more than 23 million pounds of food, providing the equivalent of over 19 million meals to neighbors in need.
And every contribution makes a difference. Just $25 can help The Food Bank provide 75 meals.
Join the fun, support your Missouri Tigers and help fight hunger across Mid-Missouri!
