People are complaining that this statue with a seagull’s head and woman’s body is sexually suggestive.
Good art stirs up feelings and sometimes controversy, but this is ridiculous.
Seagull Cinderella, made by Donna Dodson has to wear a bikini now because some people thought it was too sexually suggestive. As you can see by the statue, it is not.
Dodson says of her statue, “It’s just a simple idea of what animal or bird would Cinderella be and, you know, again, thinking of this common seagull, so, it’s basically just a seagull head on a woman’s body.”
