Living where you work? Yay or nay?
Teachers in Miami-Dade County Florida could have their commute times slashed. The county is working on a draft to construct a multi-level middle school with a floor dedicated to teacher’s apartments, plus another apartment building. There could be up to 300 units in this building, and county teachers would get first dibs on the units.
In addition to the shorter commute, they would be considerably more affordable for the teachers. As of now, they are still in the blue print and drafting phase. No word yet on if this could become the real deal.
