One arrest after baby is murdered in north Columbia
Police say a baby was murdered in north Columbia. Officers learned about the eight-month-old girl’s death at about 11 a.m. Sunday on Elleta Blvd. off Rangeline. Detectives determined the death was a homicide. Jennifer Johnson, 44, was arrested. The Fayette woman is accused of second degree murder, child abuse, and first degree child endangerment.
