A convicted murderer out on parole that escaped cops this weekend has been found. The Callaway County Sheriff’s office said Tuesday that Stephen Thorp was arrested. Mid-Missouri is still seeing higher coronavirus case increases. Boone reported 58 new positives Tuesday, the most reported in one day since early March. Active cases rose again, to 220. Hospitalizations went down a little, to 45. Cole County reported 26 new cases on Tuesday, the highest one-day total since January.
