Bond hearing for Jefferson City murder suspect held Monday
The man accused of killing two people after a fight in a Jefferson City bar was in court for a bond hearing Monday.
ABC 17 reports a motion of continuance was filed during the hearing for Damien Davis. He allegedly shot and killed 26-year old Skylar Smock and 43-year old Corey Thames at J. Pfenny’s Sports Grill and Pub in late November.
Investigators say Davis and Thames got into a fight, then Smock, an employee at the bar, started escorting Thames out of the building. That’s when Davis started shooting at both of them.
Davis is facing two counts of first degree murder and several other felonies.
