Columbia-based Boone Electric continues to make progress restoring power in hurricane-damaged Baton Rouge. Boone Electric says electricity has been restored to an additional 15,000 Baton Rouge-area residents this week, leaving about 4,600 without power. They also say that rain from Hurricane Nicholas has slowed progress, adding that the terrain they’re working around is tough.
