Red oaks, sunset maples, magnolias and crabapples are just some of the trees that will be sold at Saturday morning’s Special Olympics Missouri (SOMO) fourth annual fall tree sale in Columbia.
All proceeds will benefit year-round training and competition for thousands of SOMO athletes across Missouri.
Tomorrow morning’s tree sale is from 8 to noon in the 7600 block of East Highway WW, which is near Old Hawthorne. Special Olympics says this year’s tree sale will feature the largest selection of trees, bushes and perennials that they’ve ever had.
The 2022 fundraiser raised about $15,000 for Special Olympics.
